This trail is located within the city of Port Coquitlam. This 21.5 km (12.9 miles) out-and-back trail takes you through the Minnekhada Regional Park, along the De Boville Slough, and finally finishes at the Pitt River Wildlife Sanctuary. Along the way, its wide, flat surface passes marshland and river channels, offering an endless supply of bird life, particularly bald eagles and great blue herons. This ride is perfect for those days when you want to just slowly meander, taking in the scenery and the bird life en route. Leave your heart rate monitor at home; bring your binoculars instead. This ride is flat, but it offers a terrific spectrum of attractions, from riverside log booms to protected wildlife sanctuaries.
