This rugged hike from the Kennedy River Valley through the Clayoquot River watershed leads to the beautiful meadows of Norgar Lake. It includes views of the rock slide that created Spires Lake as well as alpine meadows and many tricky creek crossings. Hikers on this trail should be in excellent condition and accustomed to navigating routes with topographic maps and a compass. A decrepit boardwalk presents a challenge for the first kilometer or so. For those with extra time, plan to hike the extension from Norgar Lake to the spectacular waterfalls located in the Clayoquot River Valley.
