Katzie Marsh Loop

Katzie Marsh Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Wetlands and dike trails create an active environment alongside tidal Pitt Lake. In spring, find Canada geese goslings, bright purple lupines, and slowly ripening thimbleberries along the quiet trails that encircle Katzie Marsh.

Bird-watchers especially love the area for its 200 species of birds including herons, eagles, and tundra swans. Viewing towers allow even children to get a get good view over the landscape."
