This feature of the Greater Vancouver Regional District’s Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve is a major recreation area within the outdoor educational complex, and as such is worth a visit in its own right. It is readily accessible from the entrance at the north end of Lillooet Road; in fact, many walkers may argue that the approach is too easy to ensure a reasonable walk even when that distance is added to the lake circuit, which is wheelchair accessible to boot. Fortunately that objection may be met in some part by starting not from the forest gate but from the neighbouring Lynn Headwaters Regional Park instead.
