This walk lets you encounter some social history, sample a less-developed part of the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve and experience another attractively forested stretch of the Baden-Powell Trail on slopes of the mountain low enough to be free of snow most of the year. A good place to start is at the Hyannis Drive trailhead, which you can reach comfortably by bus or car by going north off Mount Seymour Parkway onto Berkley Road, then left briefly on Hyannis to where it is intersected by the Baden-Powell Trail, with a map and signs to mark the spot.
