The circuit of the lake alone from the ticket office at the downhill ski area is rather short, involving as it does only a walk west along the valley floor beside Yew Lake’s outlet creek, called Cypress (hence the name Cypress Bowl), the whole amounting to no more than 1.4 km (0.9 mi), all of it wheelchair accessible.
