The walker in this scenic valley lying between the twin communities of North and West Vancouver has a number of outings from which to choose, ranging from various circuits in Capilano River Regional Park itself to an upriver approach, following in part a one-time logging-railway right-of-way that links Keith Road in West Vancouver with the Cleveland Dam. For walks within the park, drive or take a bus north on Capilano Road in North Vancouver. Your first access is reached by forking left onto Capilano Park Road from a little north of the traffic light at Edgemont Boulevard and parking near a salmon hatchery on the valley floor below the dam.
