Kanaka Creek Regional Park, extending in a narrow band upstream from the creek’s mouth just east of Haney to north of the Dewdney Trunk Road on the lower slopes of Blue Mountain, is still in the making. Although a trail system along the whole of the park is yet only a plan, the more accessible sections, notably the Fraser Riverfront, Cliff Falls and Bell-Irving Fish Hatchery, are already well provided with pathways, affording you experience of its many faces, from canyons and cliffs to meadows and marsh.
