Derby Reach Regional Park lies along the south shore of the Fraser River a few kilometers west of Fort Langley. Between June and September millions of sockeye and chinook salmon make their way up the river, followed by coho in late summer and chum during October and November. Spawning runs of steelhead and cutthroat trout occur throughout the winter. Lately, disquieting records indicate that the Fraser’s salmon runs, historically among the largest in the world, have become unpredictable. Highlights: Forest, farmland, riverbank; Fraser River, historic site, heritage buildings; broadleaf and vine maples; licorice fern, fungi; woodland birds; rabbits. Terrain: Some ups and downs. Well-groomed forest trails and gravel path.

Very beautiful trail. You can take a long or short way, the short way is still 40 mins-1 hr. You can bring your dog on or off leash and if you want a challenge and good exercise, it's a good one because it's riddled with a couple brutal hills, lol
