A series of forested switchbacks leads you to Yoho Lake and offers excellent views of Takakkaw Falls. Keep an eye out for bears as you head through the densely forested switchbacks on the initial part of this trail. Grizzlies frequent the area; we saw one digging in an avalanche chute just south of this trailhead. As you head up the narrow mossy trail, pink mountain heather, sunny globeflowers, and yellow glacier lilies add a splash of color.
