An unmaintained trail that follows the Otterhead River before heading northeast to the Tocher Ridge Lookout. Views from the lookout are fantastic. While you can hike or bike this trail, it is most often traveled by cyclists who ride to the Tocher Ridge Lookout junction, where they hang their bikes from trees (hungry porcupines like to chew through the rubber tires), then ascend the final 5.5 kilometers to the lookout on foot. From the parking area follow the unnamed trail to your left (south). This is the Kicking Horse Trail—an old fire road that is well maintained and wide open.
