The Rider provides little in the way of exciting technical cycling-it's the country that's exciting. Technically speaking, this trail isn’t in the Rockies but it does provide excellent views across the valley to the Rockies. The cycling is easy on a doubletrack with little elevation gain. The trail is much easier to ride early in the season; later, as the grass grows taller, the physical exertion required increases substantially.
