This low-elevation mixed-use trail follows the Puntledge River from several access points and offers hikes from twenty minutes to a full day. Opportunities are available to link up with the trail system in Nymph Falls Regional Park farther downstream, as well as Nymph Falls, the Comox Dam Recreation Area, and some lovely swimming holes. Although these trails carry the obvious mark of hydroelectric activity, they are also fine opportunities to explore both sides of the river. In the event of rising water levels, sirens will sound, indicating evacuation of the river channel. The trails are currently being upgraded to accommodate multiple uses.
