This trail is northeast of Courtenay. Though the views on this expert downhill are spectacular, stretching to the many peaks of Strathcona Provincial Park and Lake Helen Mackenzie, you won't have many opportunities to appreciate them. A lapse of concentration of this 2.32 km (1.4 miles) run will probably leave you airborne. This ride has a dual character- downhill, technical screaming, and magnificent views- just be sure to stop before you try to enjoy the panorama.
