Often tricky to locate, this trail can be hiked as two separate ascents or as one full-day loop. Located near the old Forbidden Plateau ski lodge, this steep hike passes through mixed forest to panoramic views of Comox Lake and the Comox Valley. For those agile enough to cross slippery logjams and descend embankments using knotted ropes, this hike includes rewards such as a waterfall on the Boston River and linkages to Forbidden Plateau trails within Strathcona Park.
