This trail is located at Comox Lake west of Courtenay. The sound of the kingfisher as it flies along the river is common along this trail, as is the smell of salmon on their annual upstream pilgrimage. This 8.46 km (5.08) one-way takes you along the Puntledge River from Dam Park on Comox Lake to the river's junction with Duncan Bay Main Road. Along the way, you have many views of the lazy river's course, along with three main options for a relaxing rest at river's edge.
