This trail is located at Comox Lake west of Courtenay. If you enjoy climbing along a wide fire road and then screaming your way back down, then this is the ride for you. It includes a moderate 44 m (1443 feet) climb over 4.81 km (2.89 miles). At this point, a short spur trail gives you access to the Forbidden Plateau Ski Hill for a total one-way distance of 5.53 km (3.32 miles). The climbing also offers access to many locally defined singletrack descents, all of which fall in the expert category. Many local riders use this trail as a starting point for these descents.
