This peak, just east of Mount Bowman, supposedly resembles a lower canine tooth - hence the name. The hike involves some reconnoitering and bushwhacking in order to find a line to the summit. However, the panorama from atop, west to Mount Bowman and the Fraser River trench, is worth the scramble. After a short walk through the woods, northwest, and it is a matter of picking a the trail emerges at a clearing and way through the trees and scrub until resumes on the other side of the you encounter rock.
