This trail is located south of Chilliwack. If you're looking for a ride with spectacular panoramas, along with a minimum of technical challenge, then this 19.9 km (11.9 miles) loop may just fit the bill. This wide forestry access road circumnavigates the base of Vedder Mountain, providing sweeping views of the surrounding agricultural lands. From the roadside, the views stretch north to the community of Yarrow, the Vedder Canal, and Sumas Prairie. To the north, the snow-capped peaks of the Golden Ears dominate the skyline. The area has been previously logged, with giant stumps in excess of 1 meter in diameter. The second growth of western red cedar has a lush undergrowth of thimbleberry, bleeding hear, and goatsbeard.
