Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park is world-renowned for its spectacular sock eye salmon spawning grounds/ Every four years, when the spawn reaches its zenith, the river banks are alive with spectators and bears. The next dominant run in the Adams River is expected to occur 2014.

The salmon run usually happens during the first three weeks in October. Although this network of trails and bridges was designed and constructed to accommodate the throng of salmon-run visitors, it is a pleasant 6.7 km stroll any time of the year. The entire network is well marked and easily navigated."
