Lower Flume Trail

Lower Flume Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Adams River was the landing point for massive logs that roared down a colossal 11-mile log flume constructed nearly a century ago. These logs would reach speeds of 50 miles per hour down this V-shaped flume.

Although this is classified as a portion of the historic Flume Trail, there doesn’t appear to be any evidence of the flumes. What it does provide is an incredible walk through an immense forest of huge trees, unlike any in the British Columbia Interior, a wonderful walk along the fast-moving waters of the Adams River and a beautifully secluded beach created by the river ’s back eddy currents."
