This trail is located at Burnaby Mountain adjacent to Simon Fraser University. This 5.1-km (6.1 miles) out-and-back single-track is a perfect place for intermediate riders looking to hone their single-track skills. Bouncing down a series of sudden obstacles and sharp drops is both challenging and enjoyable. The drops are ride-able, and the gradient moderate. Advanced riders will drop off Mel's onto hard-core single-track like Nicole's and Gear Jammer, which bump their way down the lower slopes of Burnaby Mountain. Although not described in detail in this guide, they are two expert single-track chutes.
