Thanks to a new trail linking Sasamat Lake in Belcarra Regional Park to Buntzen Lake, an interesting circular outing can be made, with the pass between the two lakes as a possible destination. Easy hikers not averse to some climbing will enjoy the idyllic forest trail and views from Pipeline Pass, before returning via Sugar Mountain Trail and the shore of Sasamat Lake to the White Pine picnic grounds and swimming beach.
