This is a lovely walk combining forest and meadlowland with Bridge Creek winding alongside on the return leg. The first section of the trail, actually a and along the cliffs overlooking the dirt road, makes a curve through a creek as it coils its way eastward in a meadow with the ski hill on the right series of oxbows. As recently as a few years ago, dog team drivers held sled races in Willowdale and crossed this bridge en route; hence the name.
