This is another of these quintessentially peaceful Cariboo hikes with beautiful long meadows liberally sprinkled with ponds and unlimited ducks. A couple of lakes and some forested sections add variety and make this one of the loveliest hikes in the area. Express Meadows owes its name to B.C. Express Company whose stage and wagon horses reputedly were pastured here. A ski trails map would be useful on this hike.
