This trail follows exploration roads and cutlines through forest and meadows up Wolf Creek and over a low pass into South Coal Creek where Wolf Creek backcountry campground is located. Not too exciting one would think, but it does have one surprise in store as you'll discover. NOTE: During runoff dangerously high water levels in the Sheep River make this trail inaccessible from the normal access.
