The fishing is so good it's like catching fish in a picklejar. This popular trail is not quite the doddle you might suppose. It's actually quite a trudge over a pass and it always amazes me when I see anglers setting off from the parking lot just as everyone else is returning to their cars. I assume they carry lanterns in their tackle boxes. Fishing interest apart, the lakes are located in a gorgeous alpine basin.
