Contrary to what you might expect, the main trail up Picklejar Creek does not lead to Picklejar Lakes, but makes for the scenic pass between Picklejar and Cliff creeks where you're in position to connect with Mist Ridge (#206) below its south summit, climb ridge GR547003 or knock off a few summits of the Highwood Range. A secondary trail to Picklejar Lakes is described under # 209.
