This scenic trail leads across the high plains grasslands to the edge of the mountains on the east side of Waterton Lake. With the mountain front rising to the south and west, the scenery along this trail is simply outstanding. Ditto for the wildflowers in June and July. Watch for wildlife; this area is prime elk habitat and, in springtime, and important area for bears.
