The British Army Training Unit, Suffield, used to send their members jogging up this trail under full packs, so you know you are in for a challenge. The climb up Wildhorse Creek to the pass overlooking Landslide Lake is steep, but the views of the North Saskatchewan River valley and Landslide Lake are worthwhile. Good campsites at the lake invite a stay of several days, if you have the time.
