A long walk through the forest and alongside Entry Creek is rewarded by the scenery at Landslide Lake. Landslide has long been a favorite fishing hole for fishermen casting or fly fishing for cutthroat trout since it was first stocked in 1964. Particularly good fishing can be enjoyed at the south end of the lake where creeks flow into the lake.

Lake is incredibly beautiful. Caught some nice cutthroat before my pole broke and the rains came. I took the shorter more direct from the south. I do not recommend it. It is VERY steep and overgrown in many places. I did not read the topo carefully to see that the trail climbs almost 4000ft to a pass above the lake before droping 1500ft down to the lake all in the span of 6 miles.
