This ride explores the hills to the east of the Bighorn Dam. A sandy beach lapped by the turquoise waters of the lake is a highlight, not to be outdone by a sweet doubletrack roiling past some fabulous mixed wood forest and flower-filled meadows. After a sun and swim break retrace your tracks for a short distance and follow the doubletrack as it passes a succession of beaver ponds with views of the hills to the south.
