This former fireroad provides access into a spectacular region of glacier-clad mountains just east of the Continental Divide. The lack of major hills and minimal elevation gain make this ride suitable for an overnight venture. In 1972 this fireroad offered easy 10-speeding, but it has had little in the way of maintenance since then. Some parts of the old road are overgrown by spruce trees and shrubs, which makes the riding awkward and limits visibility.
