When Elbow Valley trail extended to Little Elbow Recreation Area, there was a glaring gap between Powderface parking lot and Cobble Flats picnic area. Here are two suggestions for people wanting to go right through. To reach access 1 use either Beaver Lodge interpretive trail to Beaver Flat campground entrance, or just walk up the highway. These routes come into their own in May before the winter gate opens and half of Calgary is barbecuing at Elbow Falls. At such times it pains me to see people walking up the highway to Rainy Pass when a pack trail is available. It will also have occurred to you that a loop is possible with A and B.
