Even if you do spend most of your day walking, this is a useful trail for anglers moving on from one fishing lake to another, the only two lakes in K Country to be stocked with Grayling. The country is lovely, a rolling mix of lush meadows, aspen copses and pine forest backdropped by Front Range peaks.
