A good doubletrack trail leads up the valley of Baril Creek toward Fording River Pass. The riding is fun and it paves the way, so to speak, to a beautiful pass on the Great Divide. The extensive alpine meadows of Fording River Pass are an invitation to hike below the spectacular peaks and snowfields of Mount Cornwell and Mount Bolton. Save this trip for dry weather-the lower part of the road can be quite muddy.
