An incredibly scenic trail which overlooks Kananaskis Lakes as it follows the lip of an escarpment to a final viewpoint in the larch zone. Because of its strenuous nature, (height gain 482 m) and loose rocky sections, it's recommended you wear lightweight hiking boots.

Although the view is spectacular from the bench at the end of the trail, it is well worth the additional two hours (round trip) to continue on to the Outlier Summit. At the bench, turn left on the well-worn path, then go right at any trail junctions. The decent from the bench can be tricky because of the ballbearing-like rocks along the trail.
