Grizzly Creek To Rocky Creek Meadows Professional Review and Guide
"I knew I'd find a use for this parking lot someday! Grizzly Creek is a demanding hike up a V-shaped valley to meadows. Not the easiest way to reach the glorious head of Rocky Creek, I'll admit, but the fastest. Perhaps it's best used as a descent route from Opal Ridge.
This route uses a fairly good grizzly trail up the south bank (one unpleasant section). The obvious sheep trail up the north bank, which entices with flagging lower down, induces vertigo higher up. I've also tried a combination of lower sheep trail then creekbed, but this lands you in an impossible canyon. Another possibility is lower canyon, then the upper half of this trail. Not for novices."
