Moderate hiking on excellent trail with a steep climb over Jonas Shoulder. Known as the Glacier Trail in Jasper National Park, the hiking on this segment is excellent and there are plenty of campgrounds to choose from. Abundant alpine scenery and a very good vista on Jonas Shoulder, a prominent ridge crest, combine to make this segment special. In comparison with the previous two segments, this is a popular and well-traveled trail where the feeling of remoteness might slip away but the grandeur of the area still pervades.
