This trail lies north of Jasper, along Highway 16. This good gravel road crosses a south-facing slope, so it gets most of the day's sunlight, melting the snow by mid to late April. You can adjust the length of the ride, but the main stretch of road is 8.76 miles one-way. It is great for all riders and provides the option of continuing on to Snake Indian Falls at the terminus. From this road, which traverses the lower slopes of Mount Greenock, the ride follows a narrow road that cuts into the side of this mountain. From the roadside, views are impressive. Below you, the pristine waters of Jasper Lake taunt you as you drink warm water from your bottle. Across the valley, the slopes of the Jacques and Colin range dominates the skyline.
