Athabasca River Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This trail is located east of Jasper, Alberta. This pleasant 14.2-mile loop trail is perfect for beginner riders or experts looking for a trail to spin their legs on. It travels through forested country, so the scenery is not as dramatic as trails that climb above the valley bottom, but it is a pleasant ride with some nice riverside riding. From the trailhead, the trail begins climbing at mile .96 and continues for another .6 mile. This takes you past some views of the rolling greens of the Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course. after some forested riding, the trail joins the Maligne Lake Road, follows it form a short distance, and then returns to the trailhead along the Athabasca River, past Lac Beauvert and the Jasper Park Lodge."
