Waterfalls, tarns, cliffs. The head of Ribbon Creek's north fork is a magical place and quite easy to get to now the trail's in such good shape 11 years after the second edition. Beyond First Memorial Lake, though, the way remains rough and steep in spots, particularly the slope below the third lake which is a scramble.
