An assortment of old trails and new logging roads through the Marmot Basin Project area give access to the cirque between Mt. Allan and lower Collembola. You can, if you want, climb both these peaks from Marmot Basin, or make a loop with the Centennial Trail or a point to point with the Collembolas. Trails stop at treeline but the terrain is straightforward. Whatever you decide, you know you're in for a strenuous trip with lots of height gain.
