Heart Mountain Horseshoe Professional Review and Guide
"Heart Mountain is good fun, a popular scramble available quite early on in the season. Its rocky northwest ridge is one of those places where experience decides how high you should climb. Some people quit halfway and have a sit-down in view of the cement works, some reach the summit and a few go on to complete the horseshoe. I highly recommend the latter; nowhere are there difficulties comparable to those of the ascent."
