This is the usual hiking route to Baldy Pass. The trail follows the edge of a cutblock past a logging road on the left to a four-way junction in the trees marked with several large red squares. A steep avalanche slope is crossed five minutes before the pass is reached. Barely rising above the trees, the pass offers only marginally interesting views.
