Tent Mountain Pass Professional Review and Guide
"This is one of the most moderate mountain passes accessible by mountain bike. While it's not lengthy- only 4.58 miles point-to-point- an excellent 14.88-mile loop can be made by linking it with Ptolemy Pass and the Michel Creek Road. The ride is smooth and easy, rolling along over a carpet of needles, past a small, marshy pond, and finally cresting the summit of the Continental Divide. Once you're on the Alberta side, the views open toward the sharp summit of Sentry Mountain, part of the Flathead Range. You also roll past a small mountain lake, before finally entering a large clear-cut. The wide logging access roads will guide you the remainder of the distance back to the trailhead. This mountain pass is easily accessible for riding, but it includes some route-finding challenges."
