Located along the Smith-Dorrien/Spray Trail Highway within Kanaskis Country. This wide, rolling trail provides a great combination of wide tracks and spectacular views along its 118.89-mile point-to-point length. The Spray Lakes Reservoir was artificially created in 1951 when the Canyon and Three Sisters Dams came online. Originally, the lakes were merely a collection of small, marshy ponds that provided some excellent fishing along with an unbearable number of mosquitoes. Today, the flying pests are less of a problem, but the trout remain. You'll want to take plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings along the Spray Lakes Reservoir. The views of the Spray Lakes Reservoir and the peaks of the Goat Range keep you company for the ride's duration.
