THIS IS NOT the tourist trail to Lake Agnes Teahouse. This is a demanding grunt up a rough steep slope. On a hot day the slope bakes so take plenty of water.

Hey .. this trek title, "Lady MacDonald Teahouse" may delude a hiker to think there is actually a tea house on the summit. Sorry, no tea house. What a hiker will see and may enjoy is the heliport, a remnant structure abandoned when the tea house project was not approved by the Alberta Government. Nevertheless, the views and serenity made the trek worth the grunt.

Daunting hike for my 10 year old daughter but well worth it. Dramatic views of the Canmore valley.

This time of year it is a little muddy in several places because of the melting snow. The views are spectacular and it is a good 3 hour hike for those in reasonable condtion.
