Uphill all the way for northbound hikers, with some steep sections. Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park can be a busy backcountry area during the summer. This is a well-known destination for hikers and for a very good reason: the view of Mount Assiniboine is captivating. The trail up Bryant Creek is a nice walk with plenty of views higher up the valley. Assiniboine Pass itself is below timberline and tucked into the forest. You may consider the Wonder Pass alternative route for this section if you want a highline route.
