Ogre Canyon Professional Review and Guide
"This short, easy ride leads to a spectacular limestone canyon.Beginning at the end of pavement in the historic coal-mining community of Brule, a well-compacted gravel and dirt road leads west to Ogre Creek. You will have to share the road with a few cars and, judging by the tracks in the dust, perhaps a bear or two. Along the way the road passes through a montane forest of spruce and aspen, an area resplendent in autumn. The limestone crags of Bedson Ridge tower above the trail while to the south lie the railway and the flat, gray expanse of Brule Lake. Two short access roads lead to the railway and provide foot access to the shore of the lake. Across the lake rise the front range peaks of Roche a Perdrix and Roche Miette."
